Air Brake

Are you planning to pursue a career as a class 2 or 3 commercial driver? The air brake course will be your first step towards it.

You must complete a 7-hour air brake course at an approved driver training facility such as Allegiant Driving School as per the insurance corporation of British Columbia (ICBC) in BC.

The air brake course from Allegiant Driving School will help you learn about the benefits of an air brake system, how it provides safety to heavy-duty vehicles and how they work. We have developed methods to give students hands-on experience with air brake systems while still in the class. With an air braking board that contains all the features of an air brake system, our instructors help students learn how everything works.

The air brake course is designed to provide students right information about the air brake system that helps them prepare for the ICBC air brake knowledge test, which is a prerequisite for moving to a commercial license. Most students advance to ICBC's driver's license office and take the air brake test combined with a Class 2 or Class 3 knowledge test after completing this course.
