Allegiant Driving School's class 5 driver training program is centred around two things- safety and skills, which will make you feel confident while driving. And confidence is essential to pass the class 5 road test. Our experienced driving instructors work to instil defensive driving habits in the students that help them drive in a safe and controlled manner on the road, whether they want to obtain a class 5 or class 7 learner license.
One can drive a two-axle single-engine vehicle ( excluding motorbike) with a class 5 license. In addition, students must be 18 years of age to drive engine vehicles included in class 1, 2, 3 and 4. Class 5 license holder is allowed to drive vehicles registered in the class 5 vehicle zone( not including the bike) and an engine vehicle with a seating limit of 15 people if the vehicle is carrying people, and a motorized vehicle is transport passengers.

You need to pass a road test which will assess your basic driving skills to obtain a class 5 driving license. In a road test, you must demonstrate your driving skills by performing tasks such as starting, stopping, turning, backing and parallel parking without any difficulty. You need to show the examiners that you can drive confidently on high-speed highways and freeways. During the test, the examiner might check your observation skill. They can also consider your ability to change lanes safely and your communication with other drivers.
